Why is congress bailing out people who want to watch digital TV? - watch digital playground for free
The rescue plan is a joke for me. It does nothing to stimulate spending. An article in the bill will help to pay for the vouchers so people can watch digital TV. Since when has television and a fundamental right?

Waves are classified as "public domain", so essentially from the public. I think a very legitimate question is: "Why are not media companies, the billions of $ s on advertising and make free use of our airwaves foot the tab for the digital switchover?

For those that are still analog TV in February you do not see on TV. Since these people with low incomes who can not afford to go buy a TV, this makes sense to get help you check the box they need. This has been coming for some time, so there is little reason for people not ready for it.
Digital was forced into the throat. Many people live in rural areas and can not on cable and satellite is unacceptable, they all have bunny ears w is about 2 or 3 options for the station. As it analog, they have nothing.
You must not have realized it was President Bush, the fund initially funded by the transition to digital, but (as always) to dry.

As the government and its means of controlling the sheeple?
This is another way to buy votes.
Television is controlled for the ignorant masses. How do you know that Obama is a saint?
Because they stimulate the economy in China? The boxes are here!
No joke, it's crazy! Obama wants to make sure that you can see, he and his rise to fame!
